New Improved: FCM is like Cup & Saucer
FCM is like Cup and Saucer
We are odd but happy,
Like cup and saucer,
Two different things paired up together.
We rake satisfaction above all,
Like cup and saucer,
One is not complete without the other.
People may see us as an arrogant bunch,
As we purchase expensive tools like our pocket is full of money.
Seeing is believing; so let them believe on what they want to believe,
But FCM-ers purchase expensive tools because they are a necessity.
Like cup needs its saucer to support from hot water,
The tools support us in our studies.
Though our faculty building is not that big
But we have enough equipment for FCM-ers to utilise
Spare cameras, studios and lighting equipments among others
For us to borrow, for use to use, for us to master
Like a full cup of tea on a saucer.
Our artworks are displayed,
In the gallery, along the hallways and in class
Like a nicely displayed cup and saucer
In a glass cabinet.

The Uniqueness of Faculty of Creative Multimedia
Although people might think we are odd, but we are happy with what we are doing. It's the satisfaction of presenting our ideas and the hard work in creating artworks that is important to us. For other faculties, their priorities in scoring exams are by getting it right through books. We get better by experiences and producing artworks through daily practices. But as for others, they get better by jamming up their heads with facts and formulas.
Other people may invest their money on books but we spend them buying tools for our project. Some may misunderstand us of being arrogant for buying expensive items, but the fact of the matter is, we need them for work! Being a student of this faculty I have to say that we do have to budget our spending monthly or weekly or even daily. Though it drains cash out of our pockets, believe it or not we love buying supplies. For us, the feeling of walking into a DIY store and art shops is like children walking into a toy store. The excitement and rush is thrilling.
Classrooms and studios are one of the major factors that contributes to the uniqueness of Faculty of Creative Multimedia. The first moment we step into our classroom or professionally called studio, we were asked to just grab a chair from behind the class, scatter around, sit and just talk. We barely sit at the arranged tables and chairs, facing the whiteboard in front of the classroom like we used to be at school because basically, we need to be expressive and relax to generate good ideas in designing. In easier words, we learn in casualty and not in formality.
As for the faculty itself, we have our own gallery where students best artworks are displayed. This will inspire the juniors to produce better ideas and artworks. Even the hallways is like a gallery as we walk along, we can see many interesting things. Our walls are never plain or empty, it is always either fill with posters or banners or even painted on. They would change and put on new work in a certain period, which make going to class more interesting. Other people from other faculties will never get bored as they enter our faculty because there is always something to looked at.
So what is so unique about the Faculty of Creative Multimedia? Well, everything from the students to the staffs and lecturers, as well as the building. Hopefully this essay can help other people understand us more and would not be so quick to judge us according to our appearance.

Like that, FCM supports their students,
Who tends to get stressed over ideas,
But the lecturers are always there to support their students
Before they fall down completely.

Multi-purpose in its own way.
The cup is to hold the liquid
And apart from holding the cup,
The saucer can be use as snack plates.
Same goes to the FCM people;
Students and lecturers alike,
Multi-talented in their own way,
We can be artists, photographers, animators and critics.

They come in many unique colours, designs and sizes.
Same goes to the FCM people,
We all come from different places,
And we are differently unique from others.
FCM is like cup and saucer,
The English uses them especially for tea time and special occasions.
Always using the best sets to serve their drinks,
Displaying them with pride.

We appear in special occasions,
Always displaying our best sets of talents,
Always making people around us glowing with pride.

Best to use when serving hot liquid
Like in FCM, we serve the latest news too,
Especially when it comes to new hot ideas.
We are the creative thinkers of new ideas.
Like cup and saucer,
It always makes the situation look elegant whenever it appears.
Like FCM people,
We always make things look good
Even in the worst kind of situations.

The Uniqueness of Faculty of Creative Multimedia
The meaning of creative thinking is about generating new ideas and finding solutions to solve daily problems. Thus, by thinking creatively, you have to think out of the box to get good ideas. Our minds have no limitation because in Creative Multimedia we can think freely. Furthermore, we can come up with a lot of creative ideas to invent useful things such as the telephone, television, bicycle and other useful creative stuff.
